Day 1

Arrive in Turin

Arrive at the airport and meet your Italian Safari tour director, transferring you to the hotel in Turin city center. Depending on the time of arrival, spend some time walking around the squares and roads of the city center or simply recover from the flight before having dinner with your Tour Director.

Day 2

Turin – The first capital of Italian Kingdom

Meet at the hotel your Tourist Guide in Turin and enjoy a walking tour in the city center learning about the rivalry among the Italian with the French kings and the competition on building the nicest palaces and squares in their two capital cities: Turin and Paris. In the evening meet your Tour Director for dinner with a great pizza in a the typical pizzeria.

Day 3

Turin and the Alps – Cooking class and approach to the hunt

In the morning enjoy a fantastic cooking class with the teachings of a very well known Italian chef, learn how to prepare pizza and focaccia, fresh pasta and other typical Italian dishes. Test (and taste) the results of your class for lunch. In the early afternoon, while getting closer to the Alps, approach the hunt with a visit of the Royal hunting Palace of Stupinigi, learning about the limitless hunting passion of Vittorio Emanuele II, first king of Italy.

Day 6

Langhe – The Piedmont Culinary Region

Travel south to Langhe, one of the most important culinary regions in Italy, starting your approach to food and wine with a visit and lunch in a typical cheese farm. Arriving in Langhe check in at the astonishing castle hosting you during the last two days in Italy and, after two tiring hunting days, spend the afternoon relaxing in the spa, the swimming pool or simply sipping a glass of red wine overlooking the amazing scenario of Barbaresco and Barolo vineyards.

Day 7

Langhe – The treasures of Langhe: Barolo and White Truffle

Spend the day exploring the two Langhe’s treasures: Barolo wine and White Truffle. In the morning enjoy a truffle hunt with the help of an experienced Trifulau and his dog, searching and digging in the forests for the most expensive among all mushrooms. After the hunt move to Barolo village and learn about the grapes and soil giving birth to one of the most important wines worldwide and continue your learnings by tasting the wine during a lunch right in the vineyards. Relax the second part of the afternoon in the hotel and meet again your Tour Director to have dinner together in one of the most typical local trattorias.
