During this tour you will gain access to personal connections of Italian Safari owners, living private experiences such as a dinner in a private palace in Rome, the visit of Beretta factory or a lunch in the villa on the private island on Lake Garda, like no other tourist will ever do.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Rome

Arrive in Rome Airport and meet your Italian Safari tour director, transferring you to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, enjoy breakfast together with your Tour Director and spend some time walking around the city center: Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Campo de Fiori before enjoying a quick lunch with the best “Pizza al Taglio” of the city. Afternoon and evening available to recover from the flight.

Day 2

Rome/ Vatican City – Michelangelo’s finest and aristocratic palaces

In the morning meet your tourist guide in Rome and move to Vatican State where to explore the museums and Saint Peter Cathedral, admiring Michelangelo’s finest artworks: the Sistine Chapel and the poignant Pietà. Take advantage of the afternoon to get rid of jet lag or exploring magnificent monuments as Fontana di Trevi or the Spanish Steps, all at walking distance from your hotel, before meeting your Tour Director going to one of the most ancient aristocratic palaces in Rome where you will be hosted by the owners for a dinner in the spectacular private terrace.

Day 3

Rome/ Umbria – The eternal city

In the morning visit the Eternal City and capital of the ancient world. Start with your tourist guide at the Colosseum, understanding more of the crude but grand culture of Roman empire; walk through the Fori, stepping on the same stones and roads Cesare walked through. At the end of the visit, return to your hotel for a quick lunch in the surroundings before meeting your Tour Director and leave by car to the Umbria hunting area.

Day 4 / 5

Umbria – Hunt

Enjoy two days roe deer or wild boar hunting at sunrise and sunset. During the rest of the day, time available to discover the magnificent medieval town of Gubbio as well as organizing tours in the surrounding Assisi or activities as cooking classes or truffle hunts as well as relaxing in the private villa’s swimming pool.

Day 6

Tuscany/ Florence – Olive oil producer

Leave in the morning to Florence, on the way stop at a small olive oil producer on Trasimeno Lake. Visit the “Frantoio” as well as the olive grove and taste the olive oil produced at lunch before leaving toward Florence.

Day 7

Florence – Tuscan Food, The Uffizi and Michelangelo’s David

In the morning enjoy a fantastic cooking class in the most important school in Florence, set into the food market of the city. After the quick lunch based on your morning efforts, meet your tourist guide into the Uffizi gallery, admiring some of the most impressive artworks of the renaissance as Caravaggio’s Medusa or Da Vinci’s Annunciation; continue your guided tour in the Accademia and Michelangelo’s David. Spend the evening tasting a great “Fiorentina” in a typical “Buca” or walking around the Dome and the central roads of Florence, admiring the 500 years old palaces and the boutiques where most of the Italian fashion brands where founded.

Day 8

Venice – A Gondola ride around San Mark Basilica

In the morning transfer with a speed train to Venice where to enjoy a lunch and early afternoon walking around the narrow Calle and the hundreds of small bridges before embarking in a romantic Gondola ride around St. Mark cathedral.

Day 9

Venice – Doge’s Palace and Privately visit St. Marc Basilica

Start your day with a morning visit of the majestic Doge’s palace as well as the other main monuments of the city with your local tourist guide. Spend your afternoon enjoying great views of the Grand Canal from your hotel terrace before meeting again your guide and entering St. Mark Basilica after the closing hour, experiencing the breathtaking feeling of the basilica lightened up for you only.

Day 10

Venice/Garda Lake – Lunch on the private Garda Island – Aged red wines 

In the early morning meet your Italian Safari Tour Director and drive towards Garda Lake. Embark on a motor boat to reach the privately owned Garda Island, where the owners will guide you in a visit of the gardens and offer lunch in the amazing villa’s terrace. Day 11

Garda Lake / Alps – The Sanctuary of Italian gun Makers

Leave in the morning for the short drive to Gardone Val Trompia where to visit two among the most interesting gun manufactures world wide: the century old Beretta and the smallest Piotti, producing 40 luxury guns per year. At the end of the visit drive to the hunting area.
